Audio
Your microphone audio is captured locally by your browser, then sent to Groq (Whisper-large-v3-turbo) for transcription. If Groq returns an error, we fall back to OpenAI (Whisper-1). Audio is processed at request time and is not retained server-side beyond the request. We do not stream continuous audio — we only send the chunk between tap-record and tap-stop.
Transcripts
Transcripts are stored against your account in Supabase (encrypted at rest, US region) so you can review history and watch trend lines. Until public launch a copy is also mirrored to Boubacar's private Notion workspace for product review; this mirror will be removed before public launch. We do not train models on your transcripts. We do not sell or share them with third parties.
Model providers — what each one sees and why
Anthropic (via OpenRouter) — receives your conversation messages + session transcript. Powers the AI persona (Claude Haiku 4.5) + post-session council analysis (Claude Sonnet 4.6). Anthropic does not use submitted content to train models.
OpenRouter — routing layer in front of Anthropic. Retains operational logs for 30 days for reliability.
Groq — receives your microphone audio after you tap Stop. Returns a text transcript via Whisper-large-v3-turbo.
OpenAI — Whisper-1 fallback when Groq is unavailable. Also receives small transcript snippets for the Moderation API (safety classification, currently in observe-only mode — logs events without blocking). OpenAI does not use API content to train models.
Account data
Email, name, plan, and your selected persona/goal from onboarding. Nothing else.
Reports you submit
When you flag an AI response inside the app, we log the message ID, scenario ID, the flagged text, the reason category, and your optional note. Boubacar reviews flagged content personally within 24 hours. Until auth lands, reports are stored anonymously without tie-back to your account.
Deletion
Email baobab@catalystworks.consulting with subject “Delete my Baobab data” and we will delete your account + all sessions + all transcripts within 7 days.
Cookies + local storage
One cookie for theme preference (dark/light). LocalStorage holds your AI-provider-disclosure acceptance flag, the last session transcript before submit, and your persona/goal from onboarding. No analytics cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts.
